With the final series of Game of Thrones releasing April 14th, what better way to warm up than with some high level intrigue and deal making at the home of the throne itself, Kings Landing. That's Dubrovnik of course.

Gamesforum is delighted to announce the wonderful team behind Reboot Blue as our official event partners of Gamesforum Seattle.

To tell us more about Reboot Blue, April 11-13th, we had a quick sit down with the man pulling the strings, Damir Durovic.

Hi Damir, thanks for taking the time to speak to us today.

What is the main signature that differentiates Reboot Develop Blue 2019 from dozen of other big games industry conferences around the world?

Actually our signature is a multi-layered thing which has helped us stand out strongly and through 6 years of existence build Reboot Develop Blue 2019 in one of the biggest and most influential worldwide game developers and games industry events. If we should condense it in just few words they would be boutique, unbelievable speaker lineups, amazing setting and organic networking.

What do you mean  by "Boutique Games Industry conference" since Reboot Develop Blue is being promoted as such?

It is super high-end event for game developers and games industry where everything feels custom tailored, from the huge but very unique speaker lineup, incredible venue, magnificent seaside location, organic networking with absolutely top people and decision makers from the worldwide games industry.

Can you tell us more about the speakers you've got lined up this year?

Our huge, more then 130 people big, speaker lineup is absolutely one of a kind and gathers every year carefully curated list of some of the best worldwide games industry creators, executives and developers. Headliners for this year are just too hard to list without missing some of the amazing names, but just to name the few - Hidetaka Miyazaki, Amy Hennig, Hermen Hulst, Warren Spector, Fumito Ueda, Celia Hodent, Hilmar Veigar, Kiki Wolfkill and many more incredible industry leaders.

Is there place for indie developers at such a high-end event?

Absolutely, while we are attracting huge amounts of AAA developers, platform holders and first party studios key part of every Reboot Develop conference is indie developers and publishers that are still roughly around 40% of all attendees, plus they come from more then 30 worldwide countries each year. Featuring a huge Indie Award and Pitching Sessions that include more then 200+ submissions just show what huge involvement with the indie community we have.

What are the biggest changes to Reboot Develop Blue 2019, in it's sixth edition?

We are finally, after a lot of feedback, starting a proper dedicated tech track with help form our partners from Croteam and Vulkan, with the idea of it featuring really deep tech talks and panels! This piece of news is already attracting a lot of attention. Besides that we have added another beachside track for a total of 9 tracks during 3 days. Not only that but our attendee numbers have grown so much that we are now standing out as one of the biggest games industry and game developer conferences in the world and definetly a landmark happening on games industry event calendar.

Thanks very much Damir, look forward to seeing you in Dubrovnik!
