Vulcan and AdinMo partner to monetise Pixel Strike 3D
AdInMo have announced a partnership with Canadian mobile game developer Vulcron to display the company's InGamePlay™ brand ads in its mobile multiplayer FPS Pixel Strike 3D. The Edinburgh based company's in-game ad units are designed to feature within Vulcron’s game environment to display advertising without affecting users gameplay. Pixel Strike 3D's updates on both iOS and Android integrate AdinMo's SDK and brand ads feature prominently within the game world, with placements in key locations throughout Pixel Strike 3D using city lifestyle situations such as billboards and bus stop ads as well as in high-dwell time areas such as menus and customization screens.
The native ads are served programmatically as part of the gaming experience and the non-interruptive format also helps developers improve retention rates compared to other in-game ad monetization channels. AdInMo suggest that their ads in Pixel Strike 3D will give around 90 minutes of brand exposure based upon an average player session on 45 mins and multiple in game ad placements.
Commenting on the partnership, Brandon Smith, Partner at Vulcan said “We’re excited to be working with the team at AdInMo to drive incremental revenue for Pixel Strike 3D without impacting our players’ experience. We’ve worked with AdInMo’s in-house design team to test the optimal ad viewability that works for the fast-paced nature of our game.”
Kristan Rivers, CEO and Co-Founder of AdInMo said “InGamePlay brand advertising helps developers of all genres earn incremental revenue and supports player retention because the ads don’t force players to leave the game."
