Comunix raises $30m for new social gaming experiences
Comunix, the Tel-Aviv based social gaming start-ups has raised $30m in Series A funding in speed up development of its "transformative vision" of social gaming experiences. Founded in 2018, Comunix aim to revolutionise social gaming experiences by integrating functions, such as group video chat to create human gaming experiences. The funds were raised from March gaming as well as new investors including, March Capital, Powerhouse Capital, Woori Investments and Altshuler Shaham.
Their hit game Pokerface allows players from all over the world to play poker whilst connected via video chat. Over the past year the game has enjoyed strong growth and currently boasts over 1 million MAU. According to a press release, Comunix will use the funding to continue to grow Pokerface, expand its gaming platform and expand its team.
